Showtime’s ‘Homeland’ is onboard for the jihad

Have you been watching Showtime’s Homeland? It’s deep into jihad-supporting territory.

That’s nothing new by itself. It’s taken a hard turn that way since this season began. Before that, too, but not quite as far as this. The question is, how far?

The answer is given by checking who they hired to advise the show: Ramzi Kassem is a Muslim-activist, Gitmo lawyer and columnist for Al-Jazeera.

Do you remember when President Obama promised to “close” Guantanamo? Ramzi Kassem opposed those plans because they weren’t good enough for the jihadis. To be fair, Obama’s plan was always a fraud. Moving Guantanamo wouldn’t have been the same thing as actually closing it and then giving trials to all the detainees. Nevertheless, it is legal to hold them. Ramzi Kassem puts our enemies first.

That’s actually his job. He’s a Gitmo lawyer, having represented former detainee Shaker Aamer. Mentioned previously: The gist is that his client supports the jihad, but lets idiot lefties put a halo on him anyway. We’re the bad guys for keeping his client locked up.

Okay, so that’s Ramzi Kassem. Why did Showtime hire this guy?

We know that the show has been getting complaints for years from jihad-supporters. But why him? Couldn’t the producers find another consultant on Muslim sensitivities who hadn’t also committed himself to representing a jihadist? Of course they could have. They wanted this one.

Contrary to the critics’ complaints, the show has had friendly Muslim characters before. The trouble is, those Muslim characters were on America’s side. Lefties don’t believe that Muslims on our side are authentic. They wanted the entire world turned upside down.

And they got it. This season began with a young extremist Muslim who’d been set up by the government, and then killed in a terrorist bombing for which he was framed.

In the story thus far, a senior member of the CIA is behind it. There’s also a plot to make it appear that Iran is cheating on their nuke deal. Naturally, Israel is a part of that, too.

And while all that’s going on, there’s an Alex Jones-like internet host mixed up with a shadowy organization running a sock-puppet charade to push right-wing public opinion. There’s more to be revealed there in the coming weeks.

So, we’re the bad guys. Making America into the enemy is what it takes to get the approval of a Muslim-activist Gitmo-lawyer.

Psychologist James E. Mitchell was warned about this. In his recent book, Enhanced Interrogation, Mitchell tells of his experiences interrogating the 9/11 terrorists. Contrary to popular belief, the rough stuff was only needed for a few weeks.

In one of their more cordial conversations, 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (“KSM”) warned Mitchell that the media is “one of Allah’s gifts”:

Warming to the topic, KSM smiled and said the media, either on purpose or without realizing it, would promote Islam’s cause and champion tearing down the measures put in place to protect the American people after 9/11. He said the media would promote al-Qa’ida’s cause by framing the war against Islam (his characterization, not mine) as morally wrong, impossible to win, and fraught with unacceptable losses. He said the media’s response was one of Allah’s “gifts,” one of the ways Allah preordained for Americans to set aside those things which kept us safe and prevented attacks in the immediate aftermath of 9/11.

Showtime’s Homeland has become “one of Allah’s gifts.” I don’t think there is any turning back.

As Dr. Mitchell quotes KSM: “Eventually, America will expose her neck to us for slaughter.”

But he’s wrong there. It is leftists who will expose their necks for slaughter by the jihadists. The rest of us will be fighting.

The writers were certain that Cankles was going to be the next President, and the entire (soon to be final) season was predicated upon it.

I’ve been watching only to see Peter Quinn exact his revenge.
